Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be Made in Carolina!

Western North Carolina is known for its quality of both historical crafts and handmade goods. From pottery to cheese to chairs, clothing, and beer, we live among a creative bunch! Our State Magazine is holding its annual Made In North Carolina Awards eligible to all North Carolina residents 21 years of age or older that proudly produces and sells either a Food, Drink, Style, or Home & Garden product. Although visual arts, such as original paintings, mixed media, etc. are not eligible for the Made in NC Awards, however, if your work is reproduced for sales such as wall prints, or decor you may submit. 

The entry period runs to August 12, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., and winners and honorable mentions will be announced on September 30, 2020. The contest is free to enter and open to both amateurs and professionals and products will be judged on quality, adherence to theme, uniqueness, and authenticity. Entrants can submit their products through the official submission form online at ourstate.com. Participants can only submit one product per category per submission but a person or company may enter more than once as long as the entries are for unrelated products and are submitted on separate entry forms. 

The overall winner receives $500 and there will be two honorable mentions for each of the five categories. The category winners will be featured in a special ad in Our State magazine as well as a short feature and video to be posted on ourstate.com.
