As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to unfold amid mounting recessionary worries, critical resources, and variables, most businesses remain uncertain in the short term. Yet, one thing your business can and should do now is position itself for a swift and strong recovery when a sense of normalcy begins to return.
The Chamber is hosting Marketing Through Crisis online Zoom event that will feature award-winning marketing professionals and cover strategies designed to help your business understand best practices for leveraging various marketing tools and tactics in the short-term and determine potential fits within a long-term marketing strategy.
The event will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 2 p.m. with panelists, Chris Cavanaugh of Magellan Strategy Group, Aaron Wesely Means of Activate Biz, and Tracy Cotton of McDowell Marketing Masterminds with Tina Wolfe of McDowell County Chamber of Commerce.
Chris Cavanaugh will discuss his thoughts on preparing for the economic recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic with a marketing mindset, and how to maximize new opportunities that may exist in the marketplace. He'll talk about the importance of effective communication and the need for flexibility as well as how to avoid pitfalls along the way.
Aaron Wesley Means will cover The Power of the Inbox: Harnessing Email Marketing to grow your business in 2020. He'll dive into best practices for planning, content, and tracking success.
Tracy Cotton and Tina Wolfe, the Chamber's marketing director, will discuss specifics about how to craft your marketing and promotions through the current mindset of the consumer. They will also share local, free marketing outlets available to them and cover the importance of targeting, authentic marketing (communication with your customers and potential customers) that speak directly to their current state of mind in this pandemic.
There will be a Q&A session following the one-hour presentation which will be recorded and available for download. The event is free and open to all businesses needing marketing assistance.
Please share this event with friends and colleagues. There is no charge to attend and you do not have to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce to attend.
