Job Description
Warper Operator
Operator moves packs of yarn from pallets to creels. He/she operates warper by inspecting yarn build and repairing end.
Must be able to stand to monitor machine (1 hour shift)
Must be able to continuously walk
Threading packs on creel bar – 1hour/day
Changing combs -1hour/day
Lifting packs of yarn (up to 12lbs per pack)
Doffing beams daily (1 ½ hour per day)
Threading packs running on machine (up to 7ft high)
Ability to read all types of documents and be able to inspect work area and equipment
Bending to creel packs (12lbs) 6in from ground
Ability to hear production equipment and answer the phone
Ability to reason, interpret and decide on complicated matters
Ability to pass pulmonary function test, wear hearing protection, eye protection and other ppe
